Hoo-rah! Most of the obnoxious people are gone but, unfortunately, so is the previous Mayor (Soozcat). We are presently electing a new one. Most of us are having great fun even though we have no idea or concern about the consequences of this. In alphabetical order, the candidates TheDiva, GrayZombie, PrezGAR, HelenServo, and Scypha (who we affectionately call the "Capentagon") have each responded intelligently to intense question and answer periods and have posted humorous and revealing accounts of their plans for the group. Along with these posts are the usual oh-so-witty anecdotes that only we oh-so-flippantly-superior cappers can provide. Just remember, if you don't vote and Communism takes over the capper world, don't come belly aching to me. Oh, no. Don't even try. Well, I mean if something *really* awful happens like the Communists making you marry someone you don't love, *that* you can complain about. That's serious. Or if they tell you your chicken farm is being taken over and turned into a detention camp for Capitalists, well, you can complain about that too. But nothing else. I'm serious. Voting will begin tomorrow. And may the sexiest candidate win. Personally, that’s all I care about. That’s why I’m such a good election moderator. Please join us. We’ll be handing out capper titles next, just as we did in the good old days.
